INTERACTIVE SHOWS OF CABARET,
BROADWAY & MUSICALS, DISCO

Janus' musical ability has been attributed to her entire family; as far back as 3 generations on her mother's side and 2 generations on her father's side. Her grandmother Agnes Warner, passed away in 2004, just 2 weeks shy of her 106th birthday, playing the piano only 6 months before. Her late father, Richard "Dick" Koons, was a beloved music teacher and performer who passed away October 2006. Her mom, Marilyn, in the past was a talented actress and singer in regional theatre. Her 2 brothers play drums and drums and trumpet, respectively, and even her son sings in a rock band!

Janus has been in the music industry for most of her adult life. She has been featured in print ads for Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine. She recorded vocals in commercials for Pepsi, RC Cola, Purina Dog Chow, Macco Auto Body, and more, and was a successful contestant on the ever popular Star Search. In 1994, Janus was the winner of the Samuel Adams Talent Contest in Point Pleasant, NJ. Janus' regional theatre experience includes the lead role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and Sally Bowles in Cabaret.

One of her most rewarding experiences was a featured part in the movie, "Stitches" and the entire soundtrack.

Janus studied vocal music with Sharon Alexander of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, and has worked with famous writers and producers, Tony Camillo, Paul Vance, Tony Bongiovi, and Dale Ashby.

Janus enjoys doing her "music therapy" with the mentally handicapped and challenged, and the elderly, in addition to being a teacher's assistant at a small private school and teaching music in the Infant Room.

Currently Janus is recording CDs alone and with other artists in the
Entertainers Plus family.
