Sherri McGhie is an exciting performer with a dramatic, theatrical style.
She specializes in Broadway showtunes, and standards.  “I look for songs
that tell a story,” she explains, “I love acting out dramatic, comedic
songs, like ‘Shy’ from ONCE UPON A MATTRESS or ‘When You’re Good To Mama’
from CHICAGO; or the drama of GYPSY’S ‘Some People.’  It’s like performing
a skit!”

      As part of the Cameo Showcase, Sherri has performed at the Imperial
Palace Hotel Casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Biloxi, Mississippi; the
Golden Phoenix Casino Hotel in Reno, Nevada; on the Cruise ships Millennium
and Inspiration; and at the Atlantic City 150th Anniversary Celebration on
the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk.  Locally, she has also performed at
Leisure Village West, Holiday City, Atlantic Hills and Greenbriar Winding
Ways, Gardens of Pleasant Plains, Lake Ridge, Crestwood One,
Leisure Knoll and more.

      Sherri began her vocal training with Beverly Lambert and currently
studies with Lynn Starling.  Her dance training started at age 3 at the
Mary Bruce School of Dance.  She continued her dance studies at the
International School of Dance and Broadway Dance in New York City.  Sherri
was the producer and executive director of the Miss Big Apple Pageant for
12 years.
